As much as I want to love it, there are definitely better palettes for your money. The eyeshadow palette is pretty I feel the overall looks that can be created are rather muted since the formula is on the sheerer side.

Beautiful colours that’ll transport you to warm sunny days. I feel the nail polishes were perfectly executed. I’ve already ordered Glimmer in the hope it’s this exact formula. They both apply so evenly I was tempted to pick up a backup of Sunlight. Top coat optional since these dry so glossy anyway. Two coats is all it takes for a opaque application.

The formula of this is somewhat sheer with noticeable golden shimmers (if you look closely in the swatch you can spot it). Heat as the name suggests is a spicy warm red. It’s the one shade that’s a true cream finish & contains no shimmers. This one’s more pigmented in comparison to the others of the collection and would suit medium and darker skin tones beautifully. Should suit most complexions except deeper skin tones since it doesn’t lean too warm or too light.įlame is a stunning warm rose. I noticed a chunky silver shimmer dispersed throughout the lipstick, though hardly noticeable on the lips. If you enjoy your summer lipsticks neutral, this is gorgeous. There’s a subtle shimmer finish that is invisible when worn but adds a sheen to the overall finish.

Other favorite shades that are not neural include Lady Danger, Coral Bliss (perfect for summer) and Rebel.My favourite of the collection is Dawn. It’s another great nude that goes with every look. This shade actually shows up as a nude with peach undertones on my lips. MAC Kinda Sexy – Described as a neutral pinky rose with a matte finish.It goes really nicely with the MAC lip liner in Soar. This is a darker version of Faux but still very wearable for every day. MAC Mehr – A dirty blue pink in a matte finish.It’s a very pretty mauve that’s very comfortable on the lips and literally goes with every look. MAC Faux – A muted mauve pink in a satin finish.Even with the matte finish I still find it comfortable on the lips and the lasting power is excellent. It’s a darker nude that leans on the brown side on my lips. MAC Velvet Teddy– One of my favorite nudes is described as deep tone beige in a matte finish.It’s very hydrating and makes you lips look very healthy and glossy. This is the sheerest lipstick of the 6 and I love it for every day use. MAC Hug Me – Described as a flesh pink in a lustre finish.The lipstick has a satin finish and I don’t actually notice any white pearl on my lips. MAC Brave – It’s described as a pink beige with white pearl.Most of them have a matte finish because I like my lipsticks to be matte but there are a few that are more on the creamy side too. I narrowed my selection to my 6 most loved shades and it was a really hard task to do. MAC has a huge line of shades and finishes but my favorite have to be their more neutral every day shades. I know that with all the choices that we have now I sometimes forget about my MAC lipsticks but it seems like I always come back to them.
